Food Diary Reflection
Instructions for the food diary:
1) Keep diary for 3-7 days, at least one of which is a weekend (F, Sa, Su) and one a weekday (M-R).
2) Different meals: breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, coffee/tea, dinner, after-dinner snack, etc. Include drinks.
3) Record: What you ate, list of ingredients, place of origin, when/where did you eat it, how long did the meal last, social context (did you share the meal with anyone?), nutritional data. Record immediately after eating; do not wait until end of day.
4) Write at least one para of reflections on your food habits – patterns, surprises, thoughts, connections to material so far. What did you learn about yourself from the diary, including how it might reveal insights on some early course themes, such as what it might reveal about your tastes and habits and preferences, ethnicity, class, gender, religion, national identity, etc.. Does it reflect some other aspect of your identity and related choices important to you, such as opting for non-GMO food, organic food, food eaten at locales where others are present (food as sociality), etc.? For your reflection, focus on a few things that you feel your eating patterns revealed about you and any insights you gained as a result of the diary that you might not have otherwise realized. — Since this is very last minute and I need it by today, just pick Monday and tuesday for the weekdays and Friday and Saturday for the weekends and also I will tell you which food places to put and everything just ask me ill answer your questions.
